From the Morwell Times, Friday 15 December 1893
The crops all through the district are looking exceedingly healthy, and an excellent season is anticipated. The factories and creameries are all in full swing, and large quantities of butter are sent for export, the Yarram brand, having realised for the shipments so far sent, the highest price in the London market.
It's no fun to hear about an event you missed because you didn't know it was happening, so this free community noticeboard is intended to provide everyone with a comprehensive listing of planned events in the Yarram area.
It will take some time for it to be popular & it's success will depend on how much it is used. So if you have any function you want people to know about just let us know. All community activities will be welcome:
Sporting events, Club & Group meetings & outings, Music events, Markets & Fairs, Open Days, Garden visits, School & Education functions etc. etc...
Entries will be at the discretion of the webmaster, they can contain photos & they may be moderated. Advertising will also be considered.
